The rules,
written plainly.
No jargon. No hidden clauses. If something here doesn't make sense, email us and we'll explain.
- ScrollBuddy is a tool. You pick the apps, you write the tasks, and you can turn it off.
- Your first full day is free. After that you pay Apple, and Apple handles billing and refunds.
- We don't guarantee the app changes your life. Only you can do that.
- You can leave any time. Cancel in Settings and delete the app.
Using ScrollBuddy
You need to be 13 or older. You agree to use the app for its intended purpose: doing what matters first while your phone waits.
The apps you picked are shut from midnight. You write one to three tasks and say what each is worth, up to thirty minutes. Finish one and you earn its minutes, to spend in passes of two to thirty before the apps shut again.
You can turn it off. ScrollBuddy holds no key you cannot take back, and it only ever knows what you tell it.
Subscriptions and purchases
Your first full day is free. After that it is £4.99 a month, £29.99 a year, or £49.99 once. In US dollars it is $4.99 a month, $29.99 a year, or $49.99 once. Other storefronts show their own price before you buy.
The monthly and yearly plans renew until cancelled. Cancel any time in Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. The lifetime purchase is paid once and never renews. All three unlock the same thing: ScrollBuddy continuing past the free day.
Payment and refunds go through Apple, under Apple's terms. We never see your card. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restore. On a new phone or after reinstalling, tap Restore purchases in the gear, or Restore on the plans screen, signed in to the same Apple account.
If you don't buy after the free day, ScrollBuddy lets go of your apps. It never holds your phone shut.
Content and conduct
Don't try to break the app, get around what you paid for, or scrape data. Notes you send Aaron should be yours to send.
No medical claims
ScrollBuddy isn't therapy, medicine, or a treatment for any condition. If you're struggling, please talk to a professional.
Liability
We try hard to keep the app working. Blocking runs on Apple's Screen Time permission, and we can't guarantee it holds every time. You use ScrollBuddy at your own discretion.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material, we'll email you before it takes effect. Where we have no address for you, the date at the top of this page moves. If you don't like the changes, stop using the app. No hard feelings.
