Your agent names the day’s wins with you and checks them when you finish. ScrollBuddy is an MCP server, so it works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any agent that speaks MCP.
What is free
Connecting your agent, the dashboard and the phone app that locks your apps are free.
SB on WhatsApp is the paid part: your first day with SB is free, and the yearly plan starts with a free week.
How to connect
Paste one address into your agent, sign in with your number, then Allow. The steps for your host are below.
Invite only for now: leave your email. We email you when your spot opens; you sign in with your number then.
Run this once in any terminal.

Open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan an owner adds it in Organization settings.
Name it ScrollBuddy, paste this URL, then Add.

In Settings, open Apps, then Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode and choose Create app.

What your agent can and cannot do
It can:
- Read today’s page, your balance, the month’s goal and past days.
- Name wins you choose, with their credits and their proof, and drop one you no longer want.
- Show the step you are on, with the small squares.
- Mark a win done once it has seen the proof, or log one you finished without naming it.
- Mark the key win, the one you say mattered most today.
- Set the month’s goal in your words.
- Spend your credits on screen time, only when you ask.
It cannot:
- Pay a win without the proof you set when you named it, or below your dial. It is refused in one sentence and nothing pays.
- Spend more credits than you have.
- Reach your files, your repository or the page behind a link through ScrollBuddy. We keep a link’s host, never the page.
- See your win photos or, on iPhone, which apps you locked.
Wins pay in credits; one credit opens one minute of screen time.
At work
When you connect an agent, ScrollBuddy asks: Is this a work device or account? Answer yes on a work laptop or account, and that connection is a work connection.
- Your agent names wins in general words. The server refuses a title or goal that holds an email address, a link, a ticket id, a money figure or an @handle.
- ScrollBuddy never sees the work itself. The agent’s notes on how it checked a win are dropped on arrival; only the kind of proof and the verdict are kept.
- Work wins carry a quiet “work” mark, and Delete my work wins on your dashboard removes them all at once.
- Each agent you connect has its own work switch, chosen when you connect it.
House rules
Paste one paragraph into your agent’s own instructions, the one that matches your dial, and it checks the way you chose. The full text of each is on your agent.
- Easy. Your word is enough: say it is done and the credits are yours.
- Normal. Show what you can: one line of what you did, and it has to fit the win.
- Strict. Show it or wait: a link, a file or SB's proof before the credits come.
SB also talks to you on WhatsApp, the paid part.
Your data
- Your agent sends only what it puts in its calls: win titles and credits, the goal, and for a finished win the kind of proof, a link and one line on what it checked.
- We keep a link’s host, never the page, and never your files.
- It stays in the EU, and Delete my data on your dashboard removes it.
