What we keep, where, for how long, and how to make it go. What a connected agent sends is on what we keep.
What we keep
Your wins, your answers and your day count stay on your phone until you connect an agent or text SB. Then win titles, the kind of proof and the agent's one line on what it checked reach our server. Blocking runs on Apple's Screen Time permission, so ScrollBuddy never sees which apps you open or what you do inside them.
Once you connect your number, our server keeps:
- Your phone number, your name and your dial.
- Your wins: titles, credits, when each was finished, and the key win.
- For a finished win, the kind of proof, a link’s host (never the page) and your agent’s one line about what it checked.
- Each agent you connect has its own work switch, chosen when you connect it.
- The month’s goal, and your credits earned and spent.
- A transcript line for each thing your agent or SB did.
- On Android, the list of apps you picked.
Analytics and crash reports leave the phone under a random install id, never your name. The privacy policy lists each one.
Where
In the EU, and so are the app’s analytics. Everything is backed up every night, and the backups are encrypted.
For how long
- Transcript lines: 90 days.
- Server logs: 30 days. A log line carries ids, never your number or a message.
- A photo sent to SB on WhatsApp as proof: 7 days.
- Everything else: until you delete it.
Photos
When a finished win carries a photo, it is stored under your account in private storage, never at a public address, and only you can open it, signed in as yourself. No model and no agent sees it. Remove it any time; Delete my data removes it at once.
Delete my data
On your dashboard, open Your data and choose Delete my data: your days, wins, credits and connected agents go at once, and it cannot be undone. You can also ask SB on WhatsApp to forget you. Anything left is removed by the nightly clean up.
Everything on your phone goes when you delete the app.
Disconnect
In the gear, tap Connected as your number, then Disconnect. Our server unlinks that phone and signs it out, and the phone clears your account’s data while keeping the lock, the apps you picked and its setup. Your wins and credits stay with your number, and your other phones carry on. Disconnect deletes nothing; that is Delete my data, on your dashboard. To end every phone, browser and agent at once, use Sign out everywhere on your dashboard.
